Planners

Méndez , Amado & Associates by Judy Amado de Méndez

We make “THE WEDDING OF YOUR DREAMS” come true.

To me a wedding is the most outstanding of special events that is planned no matter the budget, the number of people, type of ceremony nor its general characteristics. It involves the most important celebration realized by a father and mother for a daughter, and it follows that it is the grandest of events for the bride. Without diminishing the importance of the groom and his family the most important role, traditionally, is that of the hostess, mother of the bride, and that of the star of the evening, the bride.

We see, then, that the primary function of the wedding planner is to serve as consultant, coordinator, organizer and supervisor of this event. She must ensure that what the mother and bride desire for the wedding will be accomplished, behind the scenes, in such a way that they will be permitted to shine at every moment and feel that they are the ones deserving of the compliments received about the party

The organizer sells the service of peace and tranquility. To accomplish this she knows both the local and international suppliers well enough to fully recommend the quality of product and/or services that each offers; she maintains controls at all times; she creates themes and develops ideas for her client when necessary.

She is well versed in international rules of etiquette, in ecclesiastic regulations and in the local customs so that she can effectively guide the client in these matters. She prepares a detailed calendar designed with the specific needs of each client in mind, thus knowing exactly what is needed and when to purchase, order or contract for the materials or services required in a timely manner. Above all, the organizer is educated in all facets of the subject matter, and is backed by the experience of having planned and organized countless past weddings whereas a mother, as a norm, personally handles a wedding a maximum of three times.

In the organization of a wedding the biggest “NO, NO” is to detract the least bit of merit from the participation of the bride’s mother. Even though she may have played a low key role in the decisions of the event that was created in its entirety for her, it is still to her credit that she obtained the services of a professional whose work successfully culminated in “The Wedding of My Dreams” for her daughter.

Finally, a satisfied client is one who relaxes and enjoys the night exactly as she had planned it, conceived it and accomplished it, and in doing so also makes the project manager, her “Wedding Planner” shine. | more vendors
